Will it spill?
Not when used properly. We recommend that you fill The Belt Bucket to 1/3 FULL (1 quart of paint) which will allow plenty of headroom in the bucket for paint to move without it sloshing out. Remember paint is thick - it doesn't splash around like water does.
How much can I paint with one fill?
You'll fill your Belt Bucket to 1/3 FULL which is exactly 1 quart of paint. With 1 quart of paint you can paint 100 sq. ft. or 400 linear feet. That's a lot of coverage before you'll have to refill - don't forget paint goes a long way!
Is it heavy when filled with paint?
Nope. When filled to the recommended 1/3 level of paint (1 quart ) the entire Belt Bucket Kit including clip, liner, brush, and paint weighs 3 lbs, making it ideal to carry on your waist as you climb ladders or navigate the space you are painting. Now I wouldn't want to hold that amount of weight in my hand for hours on end . . . just sayin'.
